A variety of options are available to help with your pet needs:
- Private, in-home coaching sessions - we demonstrate exercises and guide you in training your dog yourself, with follow-ups as needed
- In-home, day training sessions - we come to your home and work with the dog ourselves, then teach you the commands and how to maintain the behaviors
- Board and train - your dog comes to live in our home to be trained; this service includes a session in which we teach you the cues and to maintain the behaviors
- Dog-walking services - good for young puppies or dogs who can't "hold it", or dogs who get into trouble when left alone for long periods
- Pet sitting services - when you want to go out of town, but don't want to (or can't) board your pet; we can care for a variety of pets - dogs and cats, birds, reptiles and amphibians, as well as both fresh and marine aquaria
- Aggression assessments and behavior modification sessions
- Sue Sternberg's Assess-A-Pet® temperament test to aid shelters and rescues in assessing dogs for placement in forever homes
We offer consultation on a variety of training and behavior topics:
- Are you interested in getting a new dog but not sure whether you want a puppy or adult, what breed, or how to introduce the new dog to the household?
- Do you already have a puppy, adolescent or adult dog who needs to learn some basic manners/obedience or to listen to you?
- Would you like to teach your dog tricks or games such as retrieving, etc?
- Are you interested in teaching your dog obedience commands or interested in getting involved in agility or other canine competition events?
- Interested in preparing for the AKC's Canine Good Citizen® test, or in having the test administered?
- Already know how to teach basic behaviors, but would like to advance your own training abilities with methods such as shaping, targeting, behavior chaining and other techniques?
- Do you have a dog with behavior problems such as destructive chewing & stealing, separation anxiety, house soiling?
- Does your dog bark, growl, lunge or pull uncontrollably towards people or other animals?
